Jazz guitarist Jerry Hahn concert at KAFM Radio Room
May 30, 2008 7 pm
$15
To describe Jerry Hahn as a legend is no overstatement. From Carnegie Hall to Monerey and Newport Jazz festivals, Jerry Hahn has played with and influenced the great jazz artists of our day. One critic called him "one of the most important musicians of the 20th century!" An innovative and dedicated musician, Hahn is one of the favorites of a younger generation of guitarists, including Bill Frisell, Larry Coryell, John Abercrombie, Pat Metheny, and Grant Geissman, all of whom have acknowledged Hahn¹s influence. We couldn't be more thrilled to be able to bring a musician of this reputationand significance to our Radio Room audience." said Radio Room manager, John Anglim. "His blend of Jazz, blues and country riffs on the guitar are quite literally the stuff of legends. KAFM is especially proud to welcome one of the major influences of contemporary Jazz guitar. We hope you'll discover for yourself why this remarkable artist is sure to be one of the most memorable in a growing list of major talents to visit the Radio Room.
